Candidate Support Policy. Under Federal law, an individual can donate up to $5,000 to a PAC and a PAC can donate up to $5,000 to a candidate for Federal Office. These limits may be different for State and Local races. Based upon responses to an AAPAC questionnaire, and for incumbents their voting record, the AAPAC Candidate Advisory Board composed of activists involved in either the GOP and the LP (or both), will determine which candidates receive support and the monetary amount of support. Essential factors shall be the candidates’ commitment to safeguarding preborn life, their stances on legislation affecting individual liberty, and their dedication to radical decentralization of power and shrinking the size of Government at all levels. Our primary consideration will be philosophical soundness and commitment, but an important secondary consideration will be the ability to win elections.
